Reinstall the Outer Enclosure and Trim
1. See Figure 39 on page 67. Turn the upper print mechanism cover on its side as shown with
the ground wire to the rear of the mounting post and the user interface cable to the rear of
the upper print mechanism release button.
2. Slide the outer enclosure over the print mechanism assembly while pressing the upper
print mechanism release buttons until they are inside the outer enclosure.
3. Slip the left and right upper print mechanism arms inside the edges of the outer enclosure.
Ensure that the ground wire is still routed to the rear of the mounting post before it is
seated on the base.
4. Slide the enclosure down until aligned and seated into the base.

See Figure 37 on page 65. To reinstall the trim plate, slide the back edge in first, lower the
front edges, and snap in place.
Important • Ensure all cable connectors are fully seated and all connector housings are flush
against the main logic board.
Caution • When inserting self-threading screws, be careful to avoid cross-threading or
stripping the plastic holes.
