o Do not wear any jewelry (rings, watches, etc.) and loose clothing when
servicing the printers.
o Beware of “Pinch Points” on the printers. Be especially careful of:
• Opening and closing covers
• Printhead
• Rewind Spindle
• Platen Roller
o Wear protective eye wear when removing E-Rings, C-Clips, and springs.
o For personal and equipment safety, use a three-prong plug with a ground
(earth) connection.
