The printer contains several status sensors that indicate conditions by either stopping
printing or turning on an LED.

effect.
Parameters set or saved
incorrectly.
Reload factory defaults, calibrate printer,
then cycle power off and on.
If problem continues, may
be a problem with main
logic board.
Replace main logic board.
ZPL sent to printer, but not
recognized. Data LED
remains off.
Communications
parameters incorrect.
Print a configuration label to verify host
computer and printer settings match. If
they do, perform Mode Key Self Test to
check for format or overrun errors.
Prefix and delimiter
characters set in printer do
not match ones used in
ZPL.
Set characters to match ZPL format.
If problem continues, check ZPL format
for changed
^CC, ^CT and ^CD.
Printer does not
successfully auto
calibrate.
Printhead open. Close printhead.
Preprinted media being
used.
Perform manual calibration.
Media out. Load media and check media sensor.
