Refer to Figure 4-36.
1. Turn printer Off (O), and remove the AC power cord.
2. Remove the printer data cable.
3. Remove any media and ribbon.
4. Ensure the dual-tension ribbon supply spindle outer spindle is in the retracted
(pushed in) position to gain access to the set screws.
5. Rotate the outer spindle to locate and loosen the two set screws securing the cup
and spring assembly to the ribbon supply spindle shaft.
6. Slide the cup and spring assembly and the outer spindle off the shaft.
7. Remove the C-clip.
8. Slide the spindle assembly off the shaft.
9. Rotate the ribbon supply spindle subassembly to locate and loosen the two set
screws securing the cup and spring assembly to the ribbon supply spindle shaft.
10. Slide the ribbon supply spindle subassembly off the shaft.
