Latch, Right Replacement 980357-219A

Preparations

1. Do the removal steps of the Media Frame Replacement procedure (980357-207).

2. Do the removal steps of the Print Mechanism Replacement procedure (980357-212).

3. Do the removal steps of the Platen Motor Replacement procedure (980357-217).

Removal

1. Use retainer pliers to remove the ring retainer ! from the platen gear "; then, pull the gear

off of the shaft.

3. Use pliers to pull the return spring

# out of its slot.

4. Use retainer pliers to remove the ring retainer 1 from the label stripper shaft

$; then, pull the

latch 2 off of the shaft.
