SECTION 4 PREVENTIVE AND CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE
To replace a faulty fuse, use the following procedure.
1. Refer to RRP No. 1 on page 4-10 and place the power switch in the Off (O) position
and disconnect the AC power cord.
2. Refer to Figure 4-41. Using a small blade screwdriver or similar tool, remove the fuse
holder that is part of the AC power entry module at the rear of the printer.
3. Remove the faulty fuse and install a new fuse in the “In-Circuit” position. If you use the
spare fuse, be sure to order a new replacement fuse. Fuses can be ordered from your
Zebra distributor.
4. Snap the fuse holder back into the AC power entry module.
5. Reconnect the power cable to the power source. Place the power switch in the On (I)
position.
NOTE: If AC power is not restored to the printer, make sure that the power cable
is connected to a live power source. If the power source is live and the
printer does not power on, the AC power supply might have failed.
WARNING:
TURN THE PRINTER’S AC POWER SWITCH OFF AND DISCONNECT THE
PRINTER’S AC POWER CABLE BEFORE REPLACING ANY FUSES.
