Charging the Battery
Caution: Ensure that you follow the
guidelines for battery safety described in Battery Safety Guidelines on
page 141.
Charging the Main Battery
Before using the TC55 for the first time, charge the main battery
until the light emitting diode (LED) turns solid green
(see Charging LED Status on page 29 for charge status indications). To charge the TC55, use the Rugged Charge
Cable with the optional power supply.
Note: Only connect the Rugged Charge Cable to the optional power supply. Do not connect the Rugged
Charge Cable to a host computer for charging.
