Working with POS Administrator
Viewing the Products list
When you ran POS Administrator for the rst time your Items (and Services) list would have been transferred from
Accounts populating the POS Product list. (For instructions on running POS Administrator for the rst time refer to
the POS Installation and Upgrade Guide.)
The Product list in POS Administrator displays details relating to your products, including Item Name, Description,
Price Inc, Tax, and Supplier. To change the columns that show in the Product list:
Go to the 1. Tools menu and click Options.
Click the 2. Lists tab. You’ll see series of check boxes under a section called Show in Product List.
Select from these to choose the columns to display in your standard Product list. 3.
There are three ways to open the Product List window:
Go to the • Lists menu, click Product and then click Show List.
Click the • Products icon on the tool bar.
or
Press • Ctrl+P.
Products shown in red in the Product list are part of an active promotion.
Promotions and multiple barcodes are only available in POS Enterprise and POS Professional.
From the Product list you can create promotions, change prices, print labels and assign multiple barcodes.
