Currency tab
The Currency tab is only available in POS Enterprise and POS Professional.
POS Terminal can convert foreign currency to the local currency when tendering a transaction or as a simple
exchange of currency. You can set the default margin percentage on the Currency tab.
For information on setting up your default margin percentage for currency conversion, refer to the POS
Administrator in-product Help.
Scanning tab
The Scanning tab enables you to set up the system to recognise random pricing barcodes. These barcodes are
printed from a scale and contain a product code and price which varies depending on the calculated weight of the
inventory. For example, a supermarket weighs the inventory then prints a barcode from the scale, the customer then
takes the inventory to the counter to be scanned and the system displays the correct price.
