About Point of Sale
POS Terminal
POS Terminal receives Accounts information from POS Administrator and uses it to perform the cash register
functions. After End of Day processing, the information goes back through POS Administrator so that stock and
accounts can be adjusted and balanced in Accounts. It also passes back the customer records of customers that
have been added on-the- y at the register that day.
The three components are partitioned in such a way as to provide security and to only allow people access to those
parts of the package that they need to use at the time they need to use it.
