EFTPOS isn’t working
Check the following:
Run the self-test to ensure that the line is up•
Check all the connections to the PC•
Check the setup in POS options•
POS Terminal freezes after a transaction
An error may have occurred. Press the Esc key on the PC keyboard (if connected) to clear the error.
Everything freezes
There is usually nothing else that you can do but turn your computer o , wait a few moments and turn it back on.
Before Windows starts it scans the disk for any errors. Follow the instructions on the screen.
I forgot to complete end of day functions
You can complete them the following morning. If in doubt take an X-Read and complete end of day at the end of
THIS day.
Supported POS devices
If your peripheral device does not appear in the following lists, it does not mean POS cannot function with it. The
peripherals in the following list have a generic type that you can select from the options list.
