Troubleshooting
The following is a guide for some of the simple things you can do before you call your supplier for help.
If you need to call the supplier make sure that you have the following information handy when you make the call:
The type of PC and its operating system. For example, Hewlett Packard, Pentium IV with Windows 7
The make and model of peripheral devices. For example, POS keyboard, Jarltech8011T
Precisely copy any system error messages that appeared on the screen to tell the support person the error
number and details
What do I do if?
The screen is blank
Check the following:
The light below the monitor screen is showing
The monitor cords are all plugged in tightly at the power outlet and/or the PC
The power is turned on
The computer is turned on
The computer isn’t working
Check the following:
The cords are plugged into the power point and it is turned on
