Working with Appointment Manager
To be able to use Reckon SMS in POS, you must  rst sign up on the Reckon website.
Once you have signed up, you can enable it in POS Administrator and set your SMS options. You must have security
permissions to Appointment Manager and SMS to be able to set the SMS options.
Enabling Reckon SMS
To enable Reckon SMS:
Open POS Administrator.1.
Go to the 2. Tools menu and click Options.
Click the 3. SMS tab.
Click 4. Enable Reckon SMS.
Click 5. Set SMS user details.
The SMS User Details window opens.
Enter the 6. Username and Password supplied to you by Reckon at the time of provisioning and also con rm the
password.
Click 7. OK.
You can now set your preferred options for your SMS.
