Working with Table Manager
Indicators on tables
If you have a held transaction against a table or have added a note against a table using either Appointment
Manager or Table Manager, a preset icon will appear on the Table icon. The held transaction icon appears in the
bottom left corner and the note icon appears in the bottom right corner.
Transacting with Table Manager
The following are some examples of transactions using Table Manager.
Holding a transaction
If you want to use Table Manager to hold transactions you must set up a Hold - Table Manager function key.
You can hold as many transactions as you like against a table.
To hold a transaction against a table:
Open POS Terminal.1.
Enter all relevant details for the transaction, e.g. customer, products.2.
Click the 3. Hold - Table Manager function key.
The Table Manager window opens showing your default area.
Click the table that you want to hold the transaction against.4.
If you already have a transaction held against this table you will receive a message. You can click OK to hold
another transaction or click Cancel to allow you to retrieve the currently held transaction and add to it.
The transaction is held against that table and Table Manager closes.
