Working with POS Terminal
When you set up this function key:
Select the Unlock Password option if you want a speci c password to unlock the terminal. Enter the unlock
password in the right-hand  eld.
Select the Act as logon/logo option if you want operators’ login details to be used to unlock the terminal.
If an operator tries to use the terminal, a message appears on the information display and in the bottom left
corner of POS Terminal.
To unlock the terminal press the Lock Terminal function key again.
Using the manager override
The Manager Override function key allows a manager to access a function using a password.
You can set many functions up within POS Terminal so that they cannot be accessed without the Manager Override
function key and password.
Click the 1. Manager Override function key to open the Password window.
Enter the password and click 2. OK. (Click Cancel to exit this window if you do not know the password.)
Complete the transaction. 3.
Functions that can require a manager override include, Refund, Void, Cash Clearance, and Hold Transaction.
Click the 4. Manager Override function key again to disable this function.
If you have the touch screen activated, POS Terminal displays the onscreen keyboard where you can enter the
password onto the screen.
