Entering a no sale (F4)
You can use the No Sale function key to open the cash drawer. The sales person, date, and time are recorded on the
No Sale transaction for reporting purposes.
Applying tax exemption
The Tax Exempt function key allows transactions or individual items within a transaction to be sold free of tax.
Click the 1. Tax Exempt function key before you start the transaction.
Select the items as usual.2.
Click the appropriate tender function key to complete the transaction, e.g. 3. Cash (F12).
Whether the option is set to permanent or not, press the Tax Exempt key again to disable the function.
Applying a tax exempt return
To apply a tax exempt return:
Click the 1. Tax Exempt function key.
Click the 2. Refund/Return function key.
Select the item.3.
Click the appropriate tender function key to complete the transaction, e.g. 4. Cash (F12).
Locking a terminal
The Lock Terminal function key is used for logon/logo of sales personnel during shifts or when multiple sales
people use the same cash drawer.
