Working with POS Terminal
If you have the touch screen activated, POS Terminal displays the onscreen keyboard where you can enter the memo
onto the screen.
If you want a memo relating to the item to also go to the kitchen printer, the memo function must be used directly
after the item that is to the kitchen print.
Switching training mode on and o
The Training Mode function key allows you to place POS Terminal in training mode. This is an excellent way to give
your sta a chance to practise transactions without a ecting the program setup.
Press the • Training Mode function key to turn training on. All receipts have Training Mode printed on the top.
POS Terminal stays in training mode until you press the Training Mode function key again to turn this option o .
When you are in training mode, the words Training Mode appear at the top of the window.
When you turn training mode on or o a message is sent to the POS Administrator stating the Terminal ID and the
Sales Person. (POS Administrator must be open to receive this message.)
If you want to check the transactions that have been processed while a terminal has been in training mode you can
print the Training Mode Transaction Report in POS Administrator.
Training Mode turns certain options o from the Menu bar.
