Setting Up and Engaging Tone

Assigning Tone to Output Busses

To assign tone to an output bus, press the Bus key and go to the OUTPUT BUS ASSGN matrix to select which output

bus will receive tone.

NOTE: Only the busses with tone routed to it will output the slate tone when the Visual Timecode Slate tone is

activated

Assigning Tone to Card Tracks

To assign tone to card tracks, press the Bus key and go to the TONE ENABLE matrix to select which card tracks will

receive tone.

Adjusting Tone

Tone level and frequency can be adjusted in the ENG SETUP menu.

Engaging Tone

To toggle tone generation on / off, press and hold the TONE key on the face of Maxx.

Shows that Output Busses 1, 2 will

output Tone when Tone is engaged.

Shows that Card

Tracks 1 and 2 will

record Tone when

Tone is engaged.

Adjusts Tone Frequency

Adjusts Tone Level
