Zaxcom ERX and ERX-TCD Overview
ERX
The Zaxcom ERX will receive IFB audio and display timecode, Scene ID, Take # and user-bits. A time code hold
function is included to aid script supervisors so that they can easily note timecode and metadata. The ERX also
features onboard SMPTE timecode reader/generator.
ERX-TCD
The “TCD” adds the ability to output a timecode signal from the headphone jack. This can be used to send time
code to a camera or slate. This will continuously jam the timecode ensuring no drift between your Deva, Fusion or
Nomad. The timecode can be assigned to the left, right or both sides of the headphone jack. The ERX-TCD can also
output both timecode and audio simultaneously.
The ERX-TCD also has the ability to delay the output audio signal up to 400 ms. This delay can be useful to provide
an individual audio delay to match a video delay to monitors or cameras that is due to a video signal processing.
