ZAR® Interior Oil Base Gold Liquid Leaf Paint
LIQUID LEAF PAINT is an interior oil base
gold leaf nish for decorative use where the
richness and beauty of gold is desired. Add
romantic elegant touch or accent to any
surface.

picture frames, toys, restoration projects,
furniture trim, and more
Remains stable, will not tarnish in the

Do not thin.
Surface to be painted should be clean and
free from all dirt, grease, wax, etc. If your
surface has intricate detail areas that show
dirt use a scrub brush to get into all the
crevices. In some cases your surface may
need a white primer for added precaution.
If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you
may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.
EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE
SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN
DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN.
PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO
AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-
approved respirator to control lead exposure.
Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a
wet mop. Before you start, nd out how to
protect yourself and your family by

Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to
www.epa.gov/lead.
Apply evenly with a good, so bristle brush.
Brush on paint using minimum pressure,
making sure the nal brush strokes are made
toward the previously applied paint. A
second coat may be applied aer 24 hours
drying time. For spraying, reduce 10 percent
with pure turpentine.
Allow to dry 24 hours between coats.
Temperature, humidity, and lm thickness
may affect drying time. If while sanding,
sandpaper gums or surface feels tacky, extend
drying times.
Clean brushes with turpentine. To avoid
spontaneous combustion during temporary
storage, soak soiled rags and wastes
immediately aer use in a water-lled closed
metal container.
