To alter the cooking time in all modes use the ’ More ’ and ’ Less ’ keys.
• During all modes of cooking use
’ More / Less ’ to Increase or decrease the cooking time in multiples of 1
minute.
Pressing the ’ Start / Speedy Cook ’ button allows you to start your microwave at full power (1000W) for 30
seconds.
Each time you press the ’ Start / Speedy Cook ’ button you will increase the cooking time by 30 seconds, up
too a maximum of 5 minutes.
For manual defrosting (without operating the Auto Defrost Feature), use microwave power at 20% (200W).
To speed up the defrosting of dense foods over 450g (1lb), the oven may be started on 1000W (100%) power
for 1 - 3 minutes, then reduced to 20% (200W) until defrosting is complete.
Example: To defrost (20 % 200W) for 6 minutes
1. Touch the ’ M/W ’ button X 9 ( ’ 20 % ’ & ’ SET TIME ’ should now be showing in the display window).
2. Set the desired time by turning the setting control knob.
( ’ 6:00 ’ & ’ PRESS START ’ should now be showing in the display window).
3. Press start. The Oven will now start defrosting.

200W P-20 Defrost : Thawing frozen foods.
300W P-30 Simmer : Completing the cooking cycle of some pot roasts.
Casseroles and stews.
400W P-40 Medium Low : Baked custards or cheesecakes.
500W P-50 Medium : Faster defrosting for casseroles and stews.
600W P-60 Medium Hi : Baking cakes and sponge puddings
700W P-70 Reheat Low : Reheating of casseroles and stews..
800W P-80 Reheat : Reheating pre-cooked foods.
900W P-90 Reheat Hi : Roasting joints of meat and poultry.
1000W P-100 Max Power; Boiling or reheating liquids. Cooking vegetables.
