2.3 ZX3 CONNECTIONS GUIDE
Required Cables/Connectors
• Power Supply Cable (AC or DC option)
• Video Signal Cable (DVI, BNC)
• Serial I/O Connector (USB Type B-A)
Preparations
In preparation to setting up and
connecting the ZX3, turn off the
electrical power to your computer.
Shown here are standard customer examples.
**Other ZX3 Server congurations available. Above is a sample conguration with a Supermicro X7DA8 motherboard and dual redundant
military power supplies with EMI lter.
ZX3 POWER SUPPLY OPTIONS
Multiple power supply congurations are available for Z Microsystem’s ZX3 Server Stations. A typical dual-
redundant removeable AC power supply jack is pictured in the full ZX3 conguration above. If needed, a single,
xed DC power supply may be purchased. Contact your Z Microsystems Sales Representative for further
questions, order information, and the latest updates and technology.
