Additional Conventions

Java programming language examples use the following

additional conventions:

• Courier is used for the class names, methods, and

keywords.

• Methods are not followed by parentheses unless a

formal or actual parameter list is shown.

• Line breaks occur where there are separations,

conjunctions, or white space in the code.

• If a command on the Solaris™ Operating System

(Solaris OS) is different from the Microsoft Windows

platform, both commands are shown.
