• To cut Z-DENS pipes it is recommended to use a hack saw or plastic pipe saw similar to Reed
Manufacturing Catalog number PPS24 and a miter box or a chop saw with appropriate non-melt
plastic cutting saw blade.

To deburr pipe use deburring tool similar to Reed Manufacturing Catalog numbers DEB3 or
DEB0.
•
To bevel pipe use pipe bevelers similar to Reed Manufacturing Catalog number BT1 or BT2.

Read and following equipment manufacturer's instructions and safety precautions before
utilizing equipment.
•
Before cutting, deburring or beveling Z-DENS single wall rigid pipes its important to know
these pipes come in a variety of lengths; 12" (not available in 5", 6" & 8" diameters), 24",
36" & 72". Z-DENS 2", 3" & 4" single wall rigid pipes are also available in adjustable
lengths; 2.6" to 8.3" for 2" diameter, 2.4" to 8.3" for 3" diameter and 3.2" to 8.3" for 4"
diameter. By correctly selecting proper length or adjustable length of pipe you maybe
able to aviod addition labor to cut pipe. To avoid excessive joints and labor always select
longest lengths of pipe sections to complete runs.
