Turning on numeric PIN protection
You can set a numeric PIN to lock your phone. Once
the screen has locked, it needs to be entered correctly
in order to unlock the phone.
• On the Settings screen, touch Security > Screen lock >
PIN.
• Enter at least four-digit numbers.
• Touch Continue.
• Enter the same number again and touch Confirm.
Turing on SIM card PIN protection
A PIN (personal identification number) can prevent
other people using your SIM card without permission. A
PUK (personal unlock key) can be used to unlock a
blocked PIN. If an incorrect PIN is entered three times
in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM,
