How to use your Address Book
How to view your contact list
Go into Communication>Address book in the main menu and open your contact list, then use the Navigation Key to
scroll the list or use the auxiliary pen to view the list.
Tap Options>Search, and you can view your contact’s details in terms of Key Word or Group.
Note:
Your phone supports quick inquiry and location by the keypad. For example, if you enter W, the phone will search all
Chinese abbreviations and English names that are initiated with W. When the search is finished, the cursor will stop at
the first qualified contact record.
Adding a new contact
Tap Options>New Contact and you can go into the adding new contact interface. Enter the contact name, group and
phone number in turn then tap “OK” to save.
Creating a group
You can setup the group a new contact belongs to when you add this new contact. You can select groups in Default,
Family, Friends, Schoolmates, Society and Private.
Calling or sending a message to a contact
Tap Options>Send message, send a short message or multimedia message to this contact.
Checking address book capacity
Tap Options>Others>Capacity and check the capacity of your Address Book.
Viewing and editing owner’s information
Tap Options>Others>Owners information, modify, delete, display or send the owner’s information.
Related settings of the Address Book
Tap Options>Others to conduct the following setup.
Group
Personalize the ringing tone and picture of a group, or to rename a group.
Ip Special Service Code
Set and enter your IP special service code.
Preferred storage site
Save information in the SIM card or in your phone.
Copy the information in your Address Book
Copy the Address Book information in your SIM card to your phone or vice versa.
Delete information in the Address Book
Delete the Address Book information in your SIM or in your phone.
