How to Use Shortcuts in Standby Mode
Use Handsfree Function
During a call, press the Volume up key on the left side of the phone to increase the volume; long press the key to switch
to handsfree.
Press the Volume down key on the left side of the phone to decrease the volume; long press the key to switch to silent.
Input Methods
The phone offers two input methods of keypad and handwriting recognition.
How to use the handwriting function
In handwriting recognition, you can select full character recognition or handwrite in the recognition scope of Chinese,
numbers, English and symbols. To facilitate operation, an analog keyboard is available in the handwriting recognition

Press Arrow keys to enter shortcuts:
Press the up arrow key to enter Call records; Press the down arrow key
to enter Contacts;
Press the left arrow key to enter Audio player; Press the right arrow key
to enter SMS.
Press OK in the center of the arrow keys to enter the main menu.

Long press # key to switch off the speaker and switch on vibrating alert.
Long press the key again to return to the initial status.

Press the Camera key on the right side of the phone to go to digital still
and video camera.
During a call, press the Camera key on the right side of the phone to
record the call.

Press the Lock key on the top of the phone to lock/unlock the phone.

Press the Volume up key on the left side of the phone to increase the
volume.
Press the Volume down key on the left side of the phone to decrease the
volume.

Long press the Number key 1 to enter Voice mailbox; if settings have not
been defined, the phone will prompt for setting.

Long press the Number keys [2-9] to use the shortcut key functions that
have been configured in the option Settings/Shortcuts.
