Directions to Congure Temperature System
1. Wire temperature sensor to 5X00 I/O Board (for non ODO sensor
temperature system) - page 54.
2. Congure “temperature” input type (for non ODO sensor temperature
system) at
Menus → System → Congure Aux →Input Type
3. Congure temperature source :
Menus → Sensor Setup→ DO 1-4→Temp Source→User Dened
→Aux 1-6
OR
Menus → System → Congure (Aux 3-6 only) →Temp Source →Aux Input
→ODO Probe

4. Enter Aux 3-6 in Sensor Setup menu to congure temperature system:
Menus → System → Sensor Setup→Aux 3-6 (Temperature 1-6)
5. Congure Control Mode see page 138.

Notes:
- It is important to keep the 5X00 at the Run Screen during normal opera-
tion. Alarm functionality (email alarms, activation of enabled alarm relays,
alarm icons, and buzzer) is suspended when 5X00 is not at Run Screen.
- e Congure Aux menu will display temperature congured channels as
“disabled”. is is because aux systems congured as temperature channels no
longer function as analog aux channels, but rather function as a temperature
sensor system.
- e Sensor Setup menu - page 138 is automatically enabled when an aux
channel is congured for temperature.
