Names can contain up to 20 characters.
Use AquaManager to easily congure names using the PC keyboard. See Aqua-
Manager On Line help.
1. Enter Name Devices/Sensors menu
Menus → System → Name Devices/Sensors
2. Use
to scroll and highlight submenus.
3.
Press
to select.
4. Use keypad
to congure name.
5. Press
to save conguration and return to Run Screen.
Notes:
- AquaManager users - Names uploaded in the temperature system name eld
within the temperature system tab are displayed at the run screen, congura-
tion menus, and control messages menus.
- Instrument, Aux & Sensor Names are not cleared at Reset to factory menus.
- Relays names are cleared at “reset relays, “reset all systems, and “reset to fac-
tory/reset all” service menus.
- e 5X00 default system name is displayed at event, sensor, and calibration
logs, regardless if system name is user congured.
Conguring the 5X00
- At alpha/numeric keypad enter charcter then press “Clear” at keypad and then
press
to clear user congured names.
- Non temperature aux system names can also be congured at: Menus → System
→ Congure Aux →Aux 1-6→Probe Name
- Because of font limitations, 1X2 and 2X3 display formats do not show all
20 characters of a 20 character name. Typically only 13 characters are dis-
played.
- e instrument name is not shown at Run Screen. e instrument name is
shown at relay enable menus.
- Certain menus (i.e. congure aux) display up to 18 characters of the device
name. “...” is shown at the menu if the name exceeds 18 characters.
Password
Menus → System → Password
Enable and set the password in the password menu. Once the password is enabled
and saved, 5X00 system menus are not accessible without rst entering the correct
password at the Run Screen. e password can contain up to 12 characters.
