Notes:
Instrument, Aux, and Sensor Names are not cleared at Reset to Factory -
menus.
Relay names are cleared at “reset relays, “reset all systems, and “reset to

factory/reset all” Service menus.
e 5200A default system name is displayed at Event, Sensor, and Calibra-
-
tion logs, regardless if name is user congured.
Press “Clearat keypad and then press
- to clear user congured
names.
Aux system names can also be congured at: - Menus → System → Con-
gure Aux →Aux 1-2→Probe Name
Because of font limitations, 1x2 and 2x3 display formats do not show all
-
20 characters of a 20 character name. Typically only 13 characters are
displayed.

e instrument name is not shown at Run Screen. e instrument name -
is shown at relay enable menus.
Certain menus (i.e. Congure Aux) display up to 18 characters of the de- -
vice name. “...” is shown at the menu if the name exceeds 18 characters.
Password
Menus → System → Password
Enable and set the password in the Password menu. Once the password function
is enabled and saved, the 5200A system menus are not accessible without rst
entering the correct password at the Run Screen. e password can contain up to
12 characters.

Power Fail Menu
Menus → System → Power Fail
In the event of AC power failure, an AC version instruments power switches to
DC if properly wired. e switch from AC to DC power is automatic and does not
require 5200A conguration. Enable Power Fail AC Monitor to generate event when
AC power fails and is restored.
