Reconguration of the following does not place the system in 30 second hold o:
- DO systems - display format, membrane type, manual ppt input and
elevation.
- Temperature system - display format, chiller on time, chiller on time
units, chiller hold o time and chiller hold o time units.
Notes:
- Conguration changes place only the system that has been recongured
on 30 second hold.
- No “o” event log is created when energized system relays de-energize
due to 30 second sensor hold o.
- Control icons and control messages continue to display during the 30 sec-
ond sensor system hold at the Run Screen regardless if relays are energized.
Aux Hold Off
Aux Hold O (user congured) is the length of time the control or alarm condition
must exist before the Aux relay energizes.
Notes:
- To avoid control or alarm for spurious events , congure the Alarm Hold
O > than 0.
- If General Alarm is enabled, it is triggered aer the Aux hold o time and
not the general alarm hold o time.
Aux Digital
Congure digital control/alarm (open/closed), relay, alarms, and hold o in the Aux
1 - Aux 2 Sensor Setup Menu. Use digital input type for control, or alarm, based on
either a switch open or switch closed condition. Only one relay can be congured in
an aux digital system. Enabled relay will energize based on the condition congured
in the control/alarm on menu.
Aux Relay Digital
Menus → Sensor Setup→Aux 1-2
When enabled, Aux digital relay energizes when congured control/alarm on condi-
tion occurs. Aux relay energizes aer congured aux hold o time. When alarms
are disabled and as long as control/alarm on condition exists, the relay remains
energized including when menus are entered. Relay de-energizes when the non
control/alarm condition is processed by the 5200A regardless if alarms are enabled.
If alarms are enabled, the relay also de-energizes when one of the four front panel

sokeys is pressed. Pressing one of four sokeys
resets the alarm system. e Alarm system becomes active again if, aer the aux
hold o period, the alarm condition still exists.
Aux digital events (event log) are identied by aux number, input type (digital), relay
condition (on/o), and do not identify digital condition (open, or closed). Aux digital
events are not identied as control or alarm events regardless if alarms are enabled.

2. Congure “digital” at Menus → System → Congure Aux →Input Type
3. Enter Aux 1-2 in Sensor Setup menu

Notes:
- It is important to keep the 5200A at the Run Screen during normal
operation. Alarm functionality (email alarms, activation of enabled
alarm relays, alarm icons, and buzzer) is suspended when 5X00 is not
at Run Screen.
- At sensor log Aux (1:1.00 ) is reporting open condition. Aux (1: 0.00) is
reporting closed condition.
- An aux digital relay will energize when alarms are enabled if in menus
longer than the aux alarm hold o time and the control/alarm condition
is processed from an existing non control/alarm condition. e general
alarm will not trigger until the user exits to run screen, the control/alarm
condition is reset by processing a non control/alarm condition, AND then
a control/alarm condition is reproduced.
