Wiring a Contactor
e four onboard relays are rated at 240VAC@5AMPs (110VAC@10AMPs) switch-
ing capacity. Contactors should be used for devices drawing current loads higher
than relay specication. See gure 3.20 for contactor wiring.
Note:
- Contactor must meet the electrical requirements of the load.

Test Relay Outputs
Apply power to 5200A. Verify device activates at relay test. See Relay Test - page 127.
Note:
Entering the relay test menu turns o any active relays and disables any sensor,
aux, and timer system relays from energizing regardless of the value or condition.
Systems are not reset when the Relay Test menu is exited. To reset the systems aer
exiting the Relay Test menu, power cycle the 5200A.
Step 6 Wire Aux Inputs
e 5200A has two auxiliary (aux) inputs. Aux inputs can be used for digital (open/
closed dry contacts) or analog (0-1VDC, 0-5VDC , or 4-20mA) inputs. Aux inputs
can be used for a variety of applications including: level switch, pressure switch,
and/or an external instrument with an analog recorder output. Aux input wires are
terminated at location K - gure 3.21. (See 5200A I/O board wiring diagram on
inside of front panel for identication of aux system number and pin position.) See
Digital Input example - gure 3.22 and Analog Input example - gure 3.23.
