User Guide

1) Make sure both bare feet are on the electrode plates on either side.
2) Make sure your personal information like height and age is right.
3) Make sure your feet are not too dry or wet.
4) Please reset the scale or reinstall the battery if above actions make no help.
5. Why is my fat percentage data different from the data from other scales? Why are fat
percentage measurements generally inconsistent? How does long term observation help
in obtaining accurate at percentage measurements?
Fat is a special and complex tissue in the human body. It includes subcutaneous fat, visceral fat,
and others, and is widely present in various parts of the body. Currently there are several popular
methods for measuring fat percentage: DEXA, BIA, etc. Different measurement methods have
their own unique algorithms and produce different results. So far, methods for weighing in water
and DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorption method) are called the “gold standard. However,
repeat test results with these gold standards also present discrepancies. Therefore, with body
component analyses, no instrument can give absolute and correct answers. Household body fat
scale manufacturers mostly use the BIA measurement method, but results are also different due to
different algorithms. The best thing that users can do is not be concerned about the difference of
values between different devices, but rather focus on relative changes of the value measured by
the same device over long periods of time. Sticking with the same assessment system will likely
yield a better overall picture of a person's health status. Again, we must stress that relative changes
in value are more meaningful than the absolute value of a single measurement.
1. Error Indicator
1) L0: Low battery
2) RER1: Your feet are not on the electrode plates on either side, if the body fat percentage is less
than 5%, more than 50%, will be measuring error occurs.
3) 000.0: Weighing data is transferring to APP, please do not step off.
4) Err: Overload.
5) 8ERR: Mainboard may be broken.

Precautions:
1) Ignore the weighing results when weighing on the first time or after moving the scale.
2) To get the most accurate results, one foot steps on the scale gently to wake it up, then step on
the scale after you see ‘0:00’ shows on the scale.
3) Place the scale on a hard, flat floor before weighing.
4) Before taking your weigh, please take off your shoes and socks, then enter the scales barefoot.
5) Check that your device's Bluetooth is enabled (Android phone requires enabling location,
APPLE phone IOS13 and above needs the Bluetooth authorization of scale's App), Open the App
“Scale Up” and leave the app at its home screen, Bluetooth will automatically connect to the scale,
