features during a 30-day evaluation period. Before the end of the 30 days, you must purchase a license in
order to continue using them.
When you enter a license key, the applicable features or options are changed from evaluation to
permanent licenses. The opposite happens if a license is deleted and the 30 days have not yet passed.
For reference, each license key has a type and serial number, which is assigned to your order. You can
see all attributes of a license key in the License Window (see below).
To enter a new key code
1. Start Yosemite Backup.
2. To go to the License window:
a. In the gui, select the Help 

 Licenses menu item.
b. In the cui, select Administration  Catalog  Licenses.
3. Select the command New… to add a new license.
A new license object is created, which is listed as a new item in the License window.
4. To see a summary of all installed licenses:
a. Deselect any licenses and select the Properties command to open the Properties of Licenses
window.
b. Select the Status command to see a list.
