GAS HEATING SECTION
Heatexchangerandexhaustsystemshallbe
constructedofaluminizedsteelandshallbedesigned
withinduceddraftcombustionwithpostpurgelogic,
energysavingdirectsparkignition,andredundantmain
gasvalve.Theheatexchangershallbeofthetubular
type,constructedofT1-40aluminizedsteelforcorrosion
resistanceandallowingminimummixedairentering
temperatureof40ºF.Burnersshallbeofthein-shot
type,constructedofaluminum-coatedsteel.Allgas
pipingshallentertheunitcabinetatasinglelocation,
througheitherthesideorbottom,withoutanyfield
modifications.Anintegratedcontrolboardshallprovide
timedcontrolofevaporatorfanfunctioningandburner
ignition.Heatingsectionshallbeprovidedwiththe
followingminimumprotection:
a. Primaryandauxiliaryhigh-temperaturelimitswitches.
b. Induceddraftpressuresensor.
c. Flameprovingcontrols.
d. Alltwostagegasunitsshallhavetwoindependent
stagesofcapacity(70%or75%1ststage,100%2nd

outdoortemperature,exceedingmaximumloadcriteria
ofAHRIStandard340/360.Thecompressor,with
standardcontrols,shallbecapableofoperationdownto
0ºFoutdoortemperature.Unitshallbeprovidedwithfan
timedelaytopreventcoldairdeliverybeforeheat
exchangerwarmsup.(Gasheatonly)
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS-Allunitpowerwiring
