7.2 Working with the BT200
7.2.1 Layout of Keys
■ Figure 7.2-1 shows the layout of keys on the BT200.
21-line LCD display with 8
characters on each line
Cursor keys
• Select a menu item or parameter.
• Move the cursor.
• Browse pages.
POWER-ON/OFF key
Function keys
• Show commands at
the bottom of the display.
• Execute instructions as
dictated by the on-screen commands.
ENTER key
• Enters the selected menu.
• Sets data in the instrument to communicate with.
• Executes the functions of the BT200.
Alphanumeric keys
• Type in numerals.
• Type in letters in combination with the SHIFT key.
