3.2 Transmitting E-mail Messages
This section explains how to configure e-mail transmission settings.
3.2.1 Configuring the SMTP Client Function
Description
Enable the SMTP client function
Set the user authentication method
Set the authentication method when user authentication is necessary.
Specify the SMTP server settings
Specify the POP3 server settings
Specify the necessary settings when the user authentication method is POP3 (POP
before SMTP).

Function”.
3.2.2 Setting the Mail Content
Description
Set the mail header
Set the mail content
Set alarm notification mail
Specify the necessary settings to send e-mails when alarms occur and are released.
Set report generation notification mail
Specify the necessary settings to send e-mails when reports are generated.
Set periodic mail
Specify the necessary settings to send periodic e-mails .
Send mail when the power is turned on, when the GX/GP recovers from a
power failure, at memory end, or when an error occurs
