Reconfiguring the GX/GP (Module identification)
Reconfiguring the GX/GP
When you reconfigure the GX/GP, the installed I/O
modules are detected, and the settings are changed
accordingly.
Reconfiguration is necessary in the following situations.
• If you specify modules separately
• If you change the modules (change to different
modules)
• If you add or remove modules
If you purchased a model with preinstalled modules (/U[]
[]0 or /CR[][] option), you can start using the GX/GP right
away without any reconfiguration. However, if you change
modules, add modules, or delete modules, you will need
to reconfigure.
