This user’s manual explains proper handling of the compact flash card and adapter,
and lists their specifications. To ensure correct use, please read this manual thoroughly
before beginning operation.

CAUTION
Regarding the CompactFlash Card
•
Do not store or use the CompactFlash card in areas where static electricity,electrical
discharge, or electrical noise occurs. Electric shock or fire can result.
• Do not disassmeble or rework the CompactFlash card. Fire can result.
Regarding the CompactFlash Card and Adapter
• Do not apply physical shock to the CompactFlash card or adapter. Doing socan
lead to malfunction.
•
Do not cut the power, apply vibration or shock to the card, or pull the card out while
datais being read from or written to the card. Doing so can damage or erase the data.
• Do not use the CompactFlash card or adapter for any product other than
theintended Yokogawa instrument. Correct functioning cannot be guaranteed.
• When inserting the CompactFlash card or adapter, make sure the card isoriented
correctly (face up or down), and then insert it firmly into the instrument.If not
inserted correctly, the card will not be recognized.
• Also, never touch the CompactFlash card with wet hands. Electric shock
ordamage can result.
• Do not use the CompactFlash card if it is dirty or dusty. Electric shock ordamage
can result.
