4.2 Communication Setting
ToactivateMODBUS,thefollowingsettingsarerequired.TheyarelocatedintheMODBUSCommunication
menu in Detailed Setup.
Donotturnoffthepowersupplyimmediatelyaftersetting.WhentheparametersaresavedtotheEEPROM,
theredundantprocessingisexecutedfortheimprovementofreliability.Ifthepoweristurnedoffwithin60
secondsaftersettingismade,themodiedparametersarenotsavedandthesettingsmayreturntothe
previousvalues.

IMPORTANT
The MODBUS communication module must be

This can be done by either powering off and on the

Please note that the settings in the menu will
beupdatedafterinitializationoftheModbus
communication module.
IMPORTANT
ConnectingtheROTAMASSMODBUScommunicationtooltoabuswithitsexistinghostmaycause
communication data scrambles resulting in a functional disorder or a system failure.
