1.3 Setup Procedures of the MX100 Standard
Software
The following procedures are for installing the software on Windows XP.
1.
Start Windows.
Log onto Windows as an administrator (Otherwise, you will not be able to install the
software). This is the same when using an OS other than Windows XP.
When Auto Run Is Enabled

Insert the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
The setup program automatically starts. Proceed to step 4.
When Auto Run Is Disabled

Double-click the CD-ROM icon from My Computer to open the CD-ROM drive
window.

Double-click the SETUP.EXE file.
The setup program starts.
4.
Select the languages and click Next.
5.
Click Next. Read the Software License Agreement that appears. If you agree to
the terms, select the I accept terms of the license agreement check box. Click
Next.
6.
In the next dialog box, enter the user name, company name, and license number,
and click Next.
The license number is written on the label that is attached to the front of the case for the
MX100 Standard Software Setup CD-ROM.
