3 Installation and Wiring
3.1 Mounting of the Analyzer
Refer to the SAFETY section (Safe handling and relocation) for instructions on holding and moving the
analyzer.
TheTDLS220issuitableforwallmountingbymeansofthefourcornerlocatedmountingholesasshown
below:Theholedare½”sizedfortypically3/8”or¼”boltsandshouldbeusedwithappropriatesized
atandlockingwashers.Ensuretheanalyzerissecuringfastenedandthatthereissuitableaccessfor
maintenance, etc.
The analyzer is designed for operation outside buildings, at normal environmental conditions (see
Environmentalspecications,page11).However,itmustbeprotectedfromdirectrainandsnowfall.
Mounting in a vibration free environment will ensure prolonged service life. Mounting in vibration prone
areasmayintroduceoperationalissues.Pleaseconsidermountinglocationwithcare.
The actual measurement is NOT affected by vibration, it is an instrument life-time reliability
consideration.
