(3) Conrmation by using HART conguration tool
Follow the procedure below.
1) Connect the conguration tool to the
transmitter.
2)-1 When using DD(HART 5/HART 7) or
DTM(HART 7) conguration tool.
Select the “Root Menu” (Refer to
subsection 3.1.1)
Call up the “Review” display.
2)-2 When using DTM(HART 5) conguration
tool.
Call up “HART” display.
Conguration → HART
3) HART protocol revision is displayed on the
“Universal rev” column.
IMPORTANT
Protocol revision supported by HART
conguration tool must be the same or higher
than that of the EJX multivariable transmitter.

NOTE
When the output signal code of EJX multivariable
transmitter is “-J”, HART protocol revision can be
changed. Refer to subsection 3.3.17 about the
procedure of the revision change of HART 5 and
HART 7.
2.3 Device Description (DD) on
a Conguration Tool and
Transmitter Device Revision
Before using a HART conguration tool, conrm
that the DD for the transmitter is installed in the
conguration tool.
About the DD, use the device type, device revision
and DD Revision shown in the Table 2.1.
