NOTE
In this User’s Manual, HART protocol revision
5 and 7 are described as HART 5 and HART 7
respectively.
Note: HART is a registered trademark of the HART
Communication Foundation (HCF).
9.1 HART Protocol Revision
For the models with the output signal code “-J”,
HART protocol revision 5 or 7 is selectable. The
protocol revision is set as speci ed in the order.
• Con rmation by the name plate
The HART protocol revision is shown by the last
number of the serial number.

9.2 HART Con guration Tool
and Matching of Device
Revision
Before using the HART Con guration Tool (such
as FieldMate), con rm that the DD (Device
Description) of the digitalYEWFLO is installed in the
Con guration Tool before using.

The DD revisions for digitalYEWFLO and
Con guration Tool’s can con rm in accordance with
the following steps.
If the correct DD is not installed in the HART
Con guration Tool, download them from the of cial
HART programming sites, otherwise, contact the
respective vendors of the Con guration Tool for its
upgrade information.
1. Con rmation of the device revision for
digitalYEWFLO
Procedure to callup the eld device revision;
[Root Menu] Review Review1
‘Fld dev rev’ in the Review1 shows the revision
number of correspondent eld device.
2. Con rmation of the device revision for the HART
Con guration Tool
(1) Con rm the installed DD revision in
accordance with the procedure of the
Con guration Tool. Refer to its manual how
to con rm it in detail.
The rst 2 digits of the DD le are
expressed the device revision, and its last 2
digits are expressed the DD revision.

9.3 Setting Parameters using
DTM
When con gure the parameters using FieldMate,
use the DTM (Device Type Manager) reffering to
the following table.
