Configuring the DAQLOGGER
3. Select the “No.” cells. Then, press the “Recorder Model Determination” button or
select “Recorder Model Determination” from the “Communication” menu.
The “Recorder
Model Determination” button is enabled when you select “No.” cells of
recorders whose “Port” and “Address” has been entered.
If you perform recorder model determination, the models of the recorders connected
to the specied port and with designated address are identied.

If there is any recorder whose model cannot be determined, the following dialog box
appears, asking you to specify the model. Click the appropriate button.
When the recorder model determination ends, the following communication
messages are displayed.
Note
In some cases, model and options cannot be detected correctly using the recorder model
determination. In such case, set the items manually according to the procedure given in
“Entering the settings manually” on the next page.
