7.3 CHECKING FOR LEAKS

Topreventleakage,allthreadedconnectionsshouldhaveTeontape(orsuitablealternative)andall

compressionttingsshouldbeinstalledpermanufacturer’srecommendations.

1. LocatetheBLOCKSOLENOID.TurntheoverridescrewontheBLOCKSOLENOIDandSPANSOLENOIDtothe

manual position.

2. Useleakdetectionsprayonallcompressionttingsandbendsofthecalandreferencelinetubing.

3. Inspect the full length of the tubing to determine if there is a leak.

4. Repair leaks as necessary, and within applicable guidelines.

5. After repairing the leaking areas, repeat the inspection instructions above for the affected areas.

6. Uponcompletionofrepairingtheleaks,returnallsolenoidstotheAUTOposition.
