11.5 Scheduling the DLPAR function from i5/OS
Scripts can be scheduled to run from the i5/OS using the job scheduler. Scripts can be written
from the desktop, and using the operation navigator, drag and drop them to the desired IFS
directory (for example, /home/fred) in i5/OS.
Scheduling the memory movement
.You can do the scheduling of memory movement using the following procedure:
򐂰 Logon to i5/OS using the user name
fred and from the main menu, run the command
wrkjobscde and press Enter, then press F6 to add the entry (Figure 11-24).

򐂰 Enter the job name in the Job name field (for example, LPARTEST).
Enter the qsh command in the
Command to run field as shown in Figure 11-25 and press
Enter.
