Marking In addition to Sec. Gen., the markings "CAUTION To ensure
continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly
grounded outlets only" should be marked on the surface of the Enclosure. The
letter of “CAUTION” shall be in letter of minimum 2.4 mm high, the others
letters shall be in letter of minimum 1.6 mm high if contrasting color is
used.
The following marking should be added for products intended for outdoor
use:
1. “CAUTION To reduce the risk of electric shock, keep extension cord
connection dry and off the ground”, or with an equivalent wording
following the word “CAUTION”.
2. Use only outdoors, do not expose to rain.
The following markings should include in instruction Manual for model
BBQ110:
1. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
2. If a longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords is used,
a) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance, and
b) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over unintentionally.
3. Outdoor extension cords should be used with outdoor use products and
are surface marked with suffix letters “W-A” and with a tag stating
“Suitable for Use with Outdoor Appliances.”
4. A statement indicating the connection to an extension cord should be
kept dry and off the ground.
5. Store Products indoors when not in use out of reach of children.
6. Do not clean this product with a water spray or the like.
7. This appliance shall be grounded while in use to protect the operator
from electrical shock. The appliance is equipped with a 3-conductor
cord and a 3-prong grounding-type plug to fit the proper grounding-type
receptacle. Plug into a GFCI-protected outdoor receptacle, where
available.
