Outputs
As Independence already supports many different interfaces and because of all the different
sequencer applications actually available sometimes it can be required or helpful to increase or
reduce the number of available outputs.
IMPORTANT: Thereby you can also save or require performance of your computer.
At the moment the maximum amount of available outputs is set to 8 MONO and
STEREO outputs per instance. Unfortunately many sequencer applications have
different ways to manage additional output channels of plug-ins. Please
read the manual of your sequencer application how to do it.
Default Root Key
If you import audio files that do not contain a “root key” information, the selected key of this pull-
down menu gets used as default root key.
Use original BIT rate / Pre-convert to 32 BIT
Independence comes with an automatic recognition and immediate internal adjustment of
the settings of your sequencer application. Actually the compatibility up to 32 Bit/192 kHz
is guaranteed. Thereby an entire compatibility to any sequencer and used hardware gets fully
supported. Apart from this you can decide to convert the Audio Files already during the loading to
the appropriate bit rate or to convert them from the RAM only until they get used.
MIDI CC defaults
Here you can activate the default MIDI CCs for the “volume” parameter (CC #7) and the
“panorama” parameter (CC #10). When switched off, the MIDI CCs get used you assigned in the
“Module” page (Modifier). With the “MA” buttons (MIDI Automation) in the Layer Basics you can
additionally activate the default MIDI CCs per Layer separately.
Sample auto find
Although Independence already comes with a premium 18GB sound library and the full
compatibility to all existing and upcoming yellow tools products (Virtual Instruments and effects), it
is additionally the first yellow tools product that allows also the import and management of all your
own audio files (WAV and AIFF) and even 3rd party sample libraries.
To enable the best possible management of your audio files we integrated a very sophisticated
automatic search feature which supports any kind of your personal file management structure.
By and by your own sample library will grow continuously. Thereby you may need to re-organize
the structure of your file management. You can move or copy your sample libraries at will, this
feature enables you to search and restore lost or moved audio files immediately and fully automated.
In case „Auto Find“ should find multiple results with the same name it will show a dialog with all
search results you can choose from
Program Change
Here you can activate or deactivate the program change feature of Independence.
