Using Public Hold
To place an SCA call on public hold by handset A:
1. Press the Options soft key.
2. Select Hold, and then press the OK soft key.
The SCA call is placed on public hold.
You can retrieve the public held call on either DECT phone A or land-line phone B.
To retrieve a call placed on public hold by handset A:
- If the SCA call is placed on public hold on land-line phone B, the DECT phone A icon
flashes.
Press the SCA soft key on handset, and then select the held call.
Press the Resume soft key on handset to retrieve the call from land-line phone B.
- If the SCA call is placed on public hold on DECT phone A:
Press the Resume soft key on handset to retrieve the call directly.
If both DECT phone A and land-line phone B have an active call, and the call on land-line phone
B is placed on public hold, you can retrieve the call on DECT phone A.
To retrieve another call that placed on public hold by handset A:
1. Place the current call on hold.
2. Press the Line soft key, the screen displays the calls on held.
3. Press the Resume soft key to resume the held call on land-line phone B.
Using Private Hold
To place a call on private hold by handset A:
1. Press the Options soft key, and then select Private Hold.
2. Press the OK soft key.
The SCA call is held privately. User A can press the Resume soft key on handset to resume
the held call. User B is not able to retrieve the private held call.
Barging an Active SCA Call
SCA bridging feature allows SCA users to barge in an active call, and establish a conference call
with the third party.
To barge in an active SCA call by handset:
An SCA call is established between land-line phone B and DECT phone C.
1. Press the SCA soft key on DECT phone A.
Visual indicator on the LCD screen of the DECT phone A indicates that the shared line is in
the active state.
2. Select the active call you want to barge in.
